Adams Outcomes Area 2 - Intellectual and Practical Skills - Written and Oral Communication

I knew a little about computer applications and how to run them but this class has helped me a great deal to fully understand how to use them. Before taking this class I just understood the basics but thanks to professor Webbs guidance I now know how to perform more advanced functions within the software. I now know how to link charts to the amount of money spent on everyday things to track for a budget.

I genuinely think that learning some key functions in Microsoft Excel will greatly benefit me when it comes to running a business. Seeing as that is what I want to do with my life, I am greatly thankful that I learned these skills early on instead of having to learn them along the road. This way i do not have to stress and learn them as i find the need for the knowledge i can just use the knowledge i have now

I see myself using these skills quite often down the road as I go through the rest of college here at Adams State University and I will definitely use them when I get out into the world and open up my business until I can hire the people to take care of this stuff for me. I genuinely am grateful for learning these skills now so i do not have to worry about having someone teach me later on i can just do it because i am grateful to have such great teachers here at adams state university and i do not think i would have gotten an in depth learning if i went to a bigger school.i am very grateful that my professors are so flexible with new students adjusting to the workflow of college compared to highschool teachers.
